Sheriff’s Volunteers Honored

On April 25, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. recognized and honored its volunteers throughout the county at the 5th Annual Volunteer of the Year and 1,000 hour Pinning Recognition Banquet in Monterey Park. Sheriff Leroy “Lee” Baca and other department executives from throughout the Sheriff’s Dept. were present to support the selfless individuals who volunteer their time so willingly.

Crescenta Valley Station Volunteer of the Year Bob Keiter was present. Volunteers Bob Pierpoint and Nerces Kevorkian, who both earned their 1,000 hour pin, were also in attendance.

All three were presented their awards by Sheriff Baca.
