Keller Williams Realty provided a service for those who receive domestic violence supportive services at the YWCA Glendale and Pasadena. Women in the Y’s shelters also benefitted from the company’s generosity.

On Thursday May 8, about 30 KW employees and friends gathered to stack the storage shelves at the Glendale Y with dry food items, household items, toiletries and baby items. They all wore red shirts for this international day of service.

Leading the pack were KW Agent Leadership Council members Kathy Lefkovits and Marci DeSousa.

“What a thrill to provide these grocery items to the YWCA pantry,” said Lefkovits. “It’s a feel good project we get to do every year to impact our community.”

KW real estate agents collected the items donated from their clients, neighbors, and the “KW Cares” fund. In addition, every KW agent donated a portion of their earnings out of every sale they made.

RED Day stands for Renew, Energize, Donate. Each year, on the second Thursday of May, Keller Williams serves its constituents and their local communities in time of need.
