The City of La Cañada Flintridge announced the launch of its Gold Star Heroes Banner Program. The program, established by the City Council, is designed to honor LCF residents’ ultimate sacrifice and acknowledge their families’ profound loss and ongoing healing.
Throughout the month of May, the City will display banners created for each Gold Star recipient on light poles on Foothill Boulevard near Memorial Park.
