Community volunteer Camille Levee recently relocated from the Glendale/La Crescenta area to St. Cloud, Florida. She couldn’t be without her CV Weekly, though.
Some of the things she experienced since arriving in Florida (during a pandemic):
• Drivers there are just as bad as Glendale
• Supermarkets have one-way aisles
• The local utility is discounting rates 11% for the next two months
• Gas is $1.78 a gallon
• It does get windy; there was a blow-up flamingo in a local pool that slowly made its way across the street and two front lawns
• Finally, a trip to Holy Land theme park is planned when it reopens. Can’t wait to see what rides this amusement park has!!
Finally, Camille says to stay tuned –– she is attempting to do her own hair for the first time in 50 years.
