The University of Wisconsin-Madison recognized Tom Oghalai of La Cañada Flintridge, who attends the College of Engineering, as earning a spot on the dean’s honor list for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year.

Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction. Most call the honor “dean’s list,” but some grant the “dean’s honor list” and “dean’s high honor list.”

Ian Camner and Maxwell Blessinger of La Crescenta achieved the dean’s list at Belmont University for the fall 2022 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

Peter Hovland of Glendale has earned placement on the Gonzaga University president’s list for fall semester 2022. Students must earn a 3.85 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.

Anissa Olona of Glendale, Katharine Franklin and Blake Rivera of La Cañada Flintridge, Sophia Atin and Allison Lombardo of La Crescenta and Veronica Hunstable of Montrose have earned placement on the Gonzaga University dean’s list for fall semester 2022. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.84 grade-point average to be listed.

Adam Burnstine of La Cañada Flintridge was named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University in the fall 2022 semester. Dean’s list status is awarded to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Gabrielle Xena Stanton of Sunland, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering, was named a presidential scholar for the fall 2022 semester at Clarkson University.

Presidential scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.

Arpy Marutyan of Sunland has been named to Southern New Hampshire University‘s (SNHU) fall 2022 president’s list. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 for the reporting term are named to the president’s list.

Nikole Alvarez of Montrose has been named to SNHU’s fall 2022 dean’s list.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the dean’s list.

Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
