The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.

James Murphy of La Cañada, a junior secondary education social studies major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester.
To be eligible, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Located in south central Pennsylvania, York College offers more than 70 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,100 undergraduate students. Andrew Kim, a mechanical engineering major in the class of 2023 from La Cañada Flintridge, was named to the dean’s list at Bucknell University during the fall semester of the 2019-20 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.

Eric M. Gerlach of La Cañada, College of Arts and Sciences, was among the more than 4,400 Baylor University students named to the dean’s academic honor roll for the 2019 fall semester. Students honored on the dean’s list are Baylor undergraduates with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
