PFAR Installs 2019 President, Officers

On Dec. 14 the Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® hosted its 112th Annual Awards Luncheon to over 300 Realtors, affiliate partners and special guests at the Westin Pasadena. The sold-out event, themed Supporting Your Success #MembersFirst, featured a view of Pasadena’s City Hall, a photo booth and giveaways for its guests.

Celebrating 100 years as an association, PFAR honored incoming President Lisa Christine Diaz, who highlighted the Association’s accomplishments while delivering plans of expanding the Association’s membership and community involvement.

A San Gabriel Valley native, Diaz pursued her passion for home buying and selling after graduating from Loyola Marymount University.

Accompanying Diaz as the 2019 officers and directors are President-Elect Eddie Ramirez (Deasy Penner Podley); Secretary Steve Haussler (Coldwell Banker | Global Luxury); Treasurer Sid Karsh (Sid Karsh Real Estate), Multiple Listing Director Amy Engler (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices) along with new directors Deno Kidde (Sotheby’s International Realty) and Joyce Kristensson (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices). Also installed were returning directors Clara Abedian (Keller Williams Realty),

Jeff Maynard (Compass), Affiliate Director Erik Okland (InterValley Escrow), and Immediate-Past President Emilie Broughton (Town Square Real Estate).

In an afternoon of celebration, PFAR distributed the most awards in the Association’s history. Recipients included: Realtor® of the Year Matt McIntyre (Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices), Affiliate of the Year Ted Amorosi (Farmers Insurance), Distinguished Service Margaret H. Sedenquist (Margaret H. Sedenquist & Co.) and PFAR’s first Humanitarian of the Year Award went to Leslie Cross (Town Square Real Estate).
