Summer Slump? I Don’t Think So!
While some businesses go quiet during the summer months, that’s not the case with the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce! The chamber has a busy summer planned.
On July 23 at 5:30 p.m. we are having a “members only” barbecue at Bob Smith Toyota. This is a way to celebrate our members who are part of the CV Chamber of Commerce! Becoming a member is easy – just call the chamber office at (818) 248-4957 or talk to our Membership chair Steve Pierce. He’ll have all of the information you need to make the CV Chamber your home! At the July 23 event there will be delicious food and great music – all at no cost to our members. Thank you to CV Chamber board member Pete Smith for allowing us access to the Bob Smith Toyota dealership!
On June 12, we had a joint ribbon cutting with the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce celebrating the one-year anniversary of Sabrina’s Pizzeria Napoletana in Montrose. What a delicious event! Attendees had the chance to taste some of the great food that Sabrina’s prepares plus hob-nob with some dignitaries including City of Glendale mayor Ardy Kassakhian and council person Elen Asatryan! We are so happy for Sabrina’s and wish them many more years of success.
On June 24 at 6 p.m., chamber members met at Thee Elbow Room in a casual setting to enjoy great food, cold brews and each other’s company. We had a busy evening and are grateful to the many folks who came out! We look forward to meeting again at 6 p.m. at Basin 141 at 2265 Honolulu Ave. on the last Wednesday of the month – July 29. It’s a great time to just relax, order some great food and meet with other members of the CV Chamber.
In June the CV Chamber welcomed two new board members: James Lee (of the Crescenta Valley Water District) and Dimitri Camperos. These two people are ready to “roll up their sleeves” and volunteer with the other board members of the CV Chamber. Welcome, James and Dimitri – we appreciate you two!
