The Los Angeles County Fire Dept. responded to a house fire in the 2800 block of Alabama Street in La Crescenta on Tuesday night about 11 p.m.

According to Maria Grycan, LACoFD spokesperson, it was an exterior fire due to malfunctioning holiday lights with no spread to the interior of the home.
