The Armenian National Committee of America selected the YWCA Glendale as the recipient of the Maria Jacobsen Humanitarian Award. Additional honorees are Archpriest Fr. Vazken Atmajian, Armenian Youth Association of California, Asbarez Daily Newspaper, Lena Kortoshian and Nicholetta Sarkissian.
