June 12, 1926 – Oct. 13, 2018

On Oct. 13, 2018, our beloved father and grandfather William Laney passed away at the age of 92. His life was a gift to his family.

Bill was born in Glendale on June 12, 1926 to Aubie and Anna Laney. He graduated from Glendale High School and then served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He belonged to the local Rotary Club and the American Legion.

He is survived by his three daughters, two stepdaughters and five grandchildren.

Bill had a full and active life including owning his own construction company, traveling the world, collecting antiques and loving his family above all. He loved the beach, all kinds of music and creating art. He traveled yearly to Mexico and weekly to Taco Tuesday.

He was an amazing man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
