Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept. – CV Sheriff’s Station received a call at 2:15 p.m. regarding a medical emergency in the 400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada. A 58-year-old male was found to have collapsed; he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The area remains closed as law enforcement is waiting for the arrival of the coroner.
