Dec. 23

5300 block Ivafern Lane in La Cañada, a standard mixer with an ice cream maker attachment had been shipped to the location but was never received. After reviewing security footage the resident witnessed a dark colored SUV drive eastbound past the residence then make a U-turn and park near the residence. A man, described as Hispanic, 35-to-40 years old, 5’7″ to 5’10″ tall, weighing 185 to 200 lbs. who, at the time was wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark colored pants and beanie, grabbed the package from the front porch and ran out of sight of the camera at 8:28 p.m.

Dec. 19

2500 block of Piedmont Avenue in Montrose, while a woman was sitting in her living room she heard a loud thump, followed by several more. She went outside and saw several broken eggs on the ground and shattered eggs on her front porch, exterior walls of her home and her vehicle.  She also found that her vehicle had been hit with several eggs and had been dented on the passenger door. The vandalism occurred at 11 p.m.

1900 block of Waltonia Drive in Montrose, the resident said he heard a loud bang and then found the window in his dining room had been shattered. The vandalism occurred at 11:20 a.m.

Dec. 18

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 49-year-old woman was arrested for taking several hair care and makeup products from a store without attempting to pay at 9 p.m.

Dec. 17

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, two bottles of liquor were stolen from a store between 12:10 p.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Dec. 15

4400 block of Cornishon Avenue in La Cañada, a windowpane of a storage room was shattered at a school. Nothing was reported stolen at the time. The vandalism occurred at 1:30 a.m.

Dec. 13

2500 block of Harmony Place in La Crescenta, personal information was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

1600 block of Del Oro Drive in La Cañada, a neighbor reported hearing footsteps in a neighbor’s yard but at the time thought nothing about it because wildlife, like bears, are common in area backyards. She then heard the neighbor’s home alarm and heard footsteps running from the home. When deputies arrived they found a screen on the front window of the home had been removed but all other doors and windows were locked and secured. The incident occurred at 7 p.m.

Dec. 11

2500 block of Community Avenue in Montrose, cookies, sunglasses and other items were stolen from a vehicle between midnight and 10 a.m.
