Dec. 5

900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a person stated that he had parked his vehicle at the location, locked the doors and walked into a store. He had left his cellphone inside the vehicle. When he returned to his vehicle he found his cellphone had been stolen. There did not seem to be any damage to the vehicle. 

The theft was reported at 9:24 p.m.

Dec. 2

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge,  a woman stated while she was shopping she placed her purse inside a shopping cart and covered it with her jacket. While she was shopping she noticed a person, described as a male Hispanic in his 40s, about 150 lbs. and 5’5” tall, pushing his cart close to her and she felt as if he was following her throughout the store. She didn’t purchase anything from the store but two hours after she left the store she noticed her wallet was missing. The next morning she received a call from a woman who stated she had found her driver’s license and bank cards in the parking lot of the store where she had been shopping. She met with the woman and retrieved her items. 

The theft of the wallet occurred between 6:20 p.m. and 6:50 p.m.

Nov. 28

4300 block of Fairlawn Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident reported that he had ordered several items to be delivered to his home by Dec. 3. He received a package on that date but found the plastic package had been cut open and resealed with clear tape. The package was supposed to contain Apple watches; however the resident found Apple AirPods in the package instead. When the deputy inspected the package s/he noticed the package appeared to have been cut open and resealed with plastic tape. It also did appear the watches were replaced with Apple AirPods that did not seem new. 

The report of grand theft was taken and the incident occurred between Nov. 28 and Dec. 4.
