La Cañada Flintridge Orthopedic Guild outgoing president Marie Baker passes the gavel to newly installed president Arlene Massimino, who will co president with Caryl Pettit. The Guild celebrates 64 years of providing service to the Institute for Children.

The installation was at the elegant La Cañada home of Liz Argue with guests Mary Beth Perrine and Karla Delgado. Corresponding Secretary Elinor Bunn, who has volunteered at the hospital and was a member of the La Cañada Guild for 55 years, was showcased for her many years of service.

Toys were collected for the patients at OIC in Los Angeles and the patients at the clinic in Calexico. Even during the pandemic the Guild has managed to raise nearly $20,000 for the hospital this year.

Other officers include Treasurer Joanne Ploszaj, Recording Secretary Ginney Pruitt, Ways & Means Joan Cleven and DeeDee Nuanes, Membership Jeanne Long, Hospitality Marie Gilhooly, Publicity Danette Erickson and Sustainers Linda Labrie.
