The Toy and Food Drive at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station has begun. Anyone who would like to support local families can donate unwrapped toys for ages from newborn to 17 years old and non-perishable food items.
“Your generous contributions benefit families in need within our community and support the Spark of Love Toy Drive,” according to a CV Sheriff’s spokesman.
Donations can be dropped off at the CV Sheriffs Station, 4554 Briggs Ave. The deadline to drop off items is Dec. 5.
“Know a family who could use a little extra holiday cheer? Nominate them to receive food and toy donations through our program,” according to the CV Station.
To be considered, the family must reside in the station’s service area, which serves zip codes 91214, 91020, 91042, 91011, 91012 (Big Tujunga Canyon Road) and 91342 (CV Station Area Only).
To nominate a family find the form at https://forms.office.com/g/srNKrrYzcS or complete the form that can be found in the lobby at the CV Sheriff Station.
