MEDIANS APPROVED FOR FOOTHILL BOULEVARD
The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the appropriation of $500,000 to complete the funding for a $1.5 million project to beautify Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta by constructing raised, landscaped medians between Pennsylvania Avenue and Briggs Road, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

PHS to Serve Local Area
The County of Los Angeles Dept. of Animal Care and Control (DACC) will be contracting with Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA (PHS). Effective Dec. 1, animal control and sheltering services to the unincorporated areas of Altadena, La Crescena-Montrose and Pasadena will be provided by PHS.
