Sept. 26

4600 block of Vira Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident was sleeping upstairs in his bedroom when he heard noise coming from the roof. He left his bedroom to investigate the noise. He entered a second upstairs room and observed a light coming from the room’s open window. The window was closed prior to him going to sleep and should not have been open. He observed a male adult wearing a grey sweatshirt and dark colored pants with a flashlight looking into the room’s open window. The suspect turned away from the resident and jumped off the roof into the resident’s backyard. He then jumped over the fence on the east side of his property. 

Nothing appeared to be stolen; however, rain gutters were damaged. The burglary occurred at 8:40 p.m.

Sept. 25

3000 block of Alabama Street in La Crescenta, a woman reported that when she returned to her vehicle she noticed the trunk was open; it was secured when she left the vehicle earlier. She discovered that golf clubs had been stolen. 

The vehicle burglary occurred overnight. 

Sept. 24

4200 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, the front passenger side of a hood of a vehicle had been vandalized overnight. 

2700 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, while investigating another burglary deputies found the shattered window of a business. The interior had not been ransacked and all doors were locked. 

The attempted burglary occurred overnight.
