At the end of the business day on Friday, Glendale City Manager Scott Ochoa informed city employees  that he was considering a position in another city that he had been offered.  At this time the Glendale City Council is in closed session discussions concerning the matter and no firm decision has been made, according to Tom Lorenz, Glendale city spokesman.

The “other city” was not named due to the restrictions in accordance with the Brown Act regarding closed session discussions. Ochoa is still under contract with the city of Glendale.
