Hill Street and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a purse was stolen from the trunk of a vehicle between 6:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
3800 block of Sunset Avenue in Montrose, the passenger door of a vehicle was pried open and several items were taken from the vehicle overnight.
July 13
2400 block of Upper Terrace in La Crescenta, golf bags and other equipment were stolen and the interior of a vehicle was ransacked. Reported at 12:50 a.m.
July 10
4200 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada, a man parked his vehicle at the location and all tires were in good condition. When he returned to the vehicle he found the back passenger tire was flat. When he got his tire repaired he found a razor blade stuck in the tire. The vandalism occurred between July 10 and July 14.
700 block of Galaxy Heights Drive in La Cañada,  jewelry was stolen from a home between July 10 and July 12.
July 3
2900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a driver reported he had parked his vehicle in a handicap spot in the parking lot and left his vehicle to speak to another person in the lot. He left the door of his vehicle open. Another man walked over to the victim’s vehicle door and slammed it with force, apparently damaging the door’s window. The incident occurred at 2 p.m.
