June 23

600 block of Houseman Street in La Cañada Flintridge, a witness reported that as she was standing outside her residence she observed a dark gray minivan without license plates that was parked in front of a white Chevrolet Silverado at the location. She witnessed two adult males exit the minivan, cut the lock securing equipment in the bed of the Silverado and stole a lawnmower and two leaf blowers. They placed the stolen items into the minivan and drove our of view. 

The theft occurred at 3:17 p.m.

June 22

2300 block of Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, a resident reported that while she and her boyfriend were in the living room they heard the sound of shattering glass and observed an unknown object thrown through the living room window, breaking the window. The did not see anyone outside the home. In addition, the front and rear left tires of their truck had been slashed a few days earlier. 

The broken window vandalism occurred at 12 p.m.

June 18

4800 block of Castle Road in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded concerning an unknown male who was attempting to break into a resident’s vehicle. The resident stated that she saw the silhouette of the suspect by her vehicle through her video surveillance camera. The resident yelled and the individual apparently fled the area. 

The attempted burglary occurred at 9:22 p.m.

June 11

2200 block of Montrose Avenue in Montrose, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between June 11-18.

June 7

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a driver parked her vehicle on the upper level parking lot of the business. She entered the business and when she returned she discovered her driver’s side window had been shattered. Several items, including electronics, were stolen. A Tesla that was parked nearby captured footage of the suspect’s vehicle. The video revealed a white mid-size pickup truck backed into the parking stall adjacent to the victim’s vehicle. Within a few minutes, the truck exited the stall and drove out of the camera’s view. 

The vehicle burglary occurred between 2:32 p.m. and 2:37 p.m.
