Summer Beach Bus Returns

The Summer Beach Bus returns on June 13. The bus is sponsored by the County of Los Angeles and City of La Cañada Flintridge. The bus travels to Santa Monica from local pick up points on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Labor Day.

Pick up from Two Strike Park (5107 Rosemont Ave.) is 9:15 a.m.; from La Crescenta Library (2809 Foothill Blvd.) is 9:25 a.m.; from Montrose Avenue & Ocean View Boulevard (southeast corner) at 9:35 a.m.; from Foothill Boulevard and La Cañada Boulevard (northwest corner). Arrival at Santa Monica Beach (by the pier) is approximately 10:45 a.m.

Leave Santa Monica at 3:30 p.m. arriving at Two Strike Park at 4:30 p.m.; La Crescenta Library at 4:35 p.m.; Montrose Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard at 4:45 p.m. and Foothill and La Cañada boulevards at 4:55 p.m. Times may vary depending on traffic.

The cost is (round trip) all children and adults $3; persons with disabilities $1.50; senior citizens (60+) (with proper ID) $1.50. Exact fare, please. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

To ensure your seating availability, make a reservation at www.LAGoBus.com up to 10 days in advance, but no later than 10 a.m. one day prior to a trip. You will receive a confirmation.
