March 23
5500 block of Alta Canyada Road in La Cañada, a man reported while he was in his home he heard his wife yelling. He ran outside and witnessed a suspect, described as a male Hispanic, 30 to 35 years old, 6’1” to 6’2” tall and weighing about 250 lbs., was standing next to his vehicle. It appeared the suspect was attempting to open the resident’s car door. He yelled at the suspect who fled the area in a white older model Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck was described as having market wheels, clear tail light lenses and peeling paint along the truck bed and tailgate.
The incident occurred at 2:40 p.m.

 

March 22
900 block of Coral Way in La Cañada, the rear passenger window was shattered and a purse with personal information was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

 

5500 block of Terrace Drive in La Crescenta, a resident received an email from Amazon stating that it had delivered a package to her home. When she arrived at home the package was gone.
The theft occurred between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

 

2000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man reported that he was working as a volunteer at the church and was in charge of taking the collection. The donations were put in a basket that he placed on the piano in the chapel. The man took some items to a storage closet and when he returned the collection basket was missing.
The theft occurred between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

 

March 21
1500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a five-piece wicker patio furniture set and a four-piece black iron patio furniture was stolen from a business overnight.

 

March 19
2500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a four-by-four foot glass window was broken at a church. It appeared the window was broken by a rock that was thrown at it. The rock was found inside the church.
The vandalism occurred overnight.
