Glendale’s 4th Annual Run the Verdugos 10K is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2014. The 6.2 mile course begins in beautiful Brand Park, climbs steadily to one of the highest points in the Verdugo Mountains, and then heads back downhill for a fast descent to the finish. Be a part of the fun and enjoy breathtaking views of the L.A. Basin, the San Fernando Valley, and the Pacific Ocean at every turn. The race’s highest point is 2,670 feet above sea level and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the San Gabriel Mountains. This annual event is presented by the City of Glendale’s Community Services and Parks Department to benefit the Glendale Parks and Open Space Foundation.
