Montrose in Bloom

Spring is on the horizon and so is a new beginning. It has been almost a year since we all had to change the lives we knew and, while things still feel different, we cannot deny the positive changes we are witnessing. While we hope to soon welcome back some of our familiar events, we also hope you’ll embrace the creativity behind our upcoming “new” events (be sure to sign-up to get your house “egg’d” for Easter – see below for details). Here’s to continuing to blossom together and to embracing the changes that spring brings with it!

Chamber Updates

Upcoming Virtual Events

March 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Join us for a free and family-friendly comedy night with Funny Girl Events. This is all possible because of our sponsors: Nix Marie – a local Montrose boutique, Janssen’s Floor and Fabric Care, and the CV Weekly! Join us for some much-needed laughs and bring your Montrose knowledge for the trivia at the end of the event to win prizes from our local businesses. March 18 at noon: Montrose Barbershop virtual ribbon cutting via Facebook and Instagram. Montrose Barbershop has been a staple in our community since the 1940s and we are taking this opportunity to host a virtual ribbon cutting. Follow us on our social media or visit our website to watch their ribbon cutting and to leave them an encouraging note in the comments section.

Easter: MVCC Eggs Your Home! Purchase an Easter egg package to have us spread candy-filled eggs across your yard (or surprise a neighbor!) for a fun early Easter morning. Visit our website or email us by March 28 to purchase ($25-$75). MontroseChamber.org

Lastly, there are many different chamber opportunities and ways you can get involved. Anyone interested in joining the chamber can reach out to us for more information. We would love to host your virtual ribbon cutting ceremony and help promote you on our social media plus e-blasts.
