Crescenta Valley Water District is installing a new nitrate removal treatment plant at the Ordunio reservoir site located at the corner of Honolulu Avenue and Lowell Avenue. This project is funded by a state Dept. of Water Resources, Proposition 84 grant.
Part of the project includes installation of a new sewer lateral near the intersection of Honolulu Avenue and Lowell Avenue. The District’s contractor will begin construction on Feb. 5 and work is expected to be finished by Feb. 16.
There will be temporary traffic delays for those traveling southbound on Lowell Avenue and westbound on Honolulu Avenue weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Traffic lanes will remain open on weekends.
