At the Arcadia Invitational last weekend, Crescenta Valley High School runner Parker Simmons ran the second fastest time in CV school history in the 3200. He ran 8:53.77. His previous best was 9:01. 

The school record of 8:49 was set in 1976 by Don Moses.
