Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA) has opened ticket sales to the public to visit Baldwin Oaks Estate through its only fundraiser, the Pasadena Showcase House of Design, one of the nation’s most celebrated home and garden tours.
The historic Baldwin Oaks Estate, a 1907 shingle-style landmark, has never before opened to the public. Now ticket holders will have the unique opportunity to see and feel the grand estate’s interiors and stroll through its lush gardens, up close, for a limited time only. Visitors will be surprised and delighted in their tour through the thoughtfully reimagined spaces designed by 28 Los Angeles area designers.
Cindy Bengtson, Benefit co-chair, said, “When its doors are open in April, we will do more than reveal spectacular room design, we will open windows to the vibrant, artistic community of Arcadia and the power of volunteers working together to turn inspiration into community impact.”
Lynne Graves, Benefit co-chair, added, “We are thrilled to welcome guests to experience this year’s Pasadena Showcase House of Design at the beautiful Baldwin Oaks Estate. From inspiring interiors to special events and unique experiences, there are many wonderful ways to celebrate great design while supporting music programs in our community.”
This season, guests can enhance their visit to Showcase House with a curated collection of refined experiences designed to delight the senses. Beyond the beautiful interiors and gardens, linger a little longer. Sip exceptional wines beneath the oaks, indulge in an intimate cocktail tasting. Create something beautiful in a floral or candle-making workshop. Enjoy a leisurely brunch accompanied by music and mimosas. For history buffs, take a guided walking tour to learn a bit more of the charm and character of the estate’s nostalgic past. Each offering has been thoughtfully designed to complement a visit at the House. This year, it is truly more than just a pretty house!
Following its renovation, the estate will welcome more than 30,000 visitors to 30 interior and landscape spaces transformed by leading designers, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of a Gilded Age landmark.
As Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts’ signature fundraiser, the event supports music education, scholarships, concerts and therapy programs throughout Los Angeles County.
The 61st Pasadena Showcase House of Design will be open to the public from April 19 through May 17.
