Chamlian Armenian School Donates to The Salvation Army – Glendale

Students from Vahan & Anoush Chamlian Armenian School organized a month-long food drive throughout November, collecting more than 1,000 pounds of food. The drive concluded on Nov. 25 when the students met with Captain Quinton Markham of The Salvation Army – Glendale to help load a truck with all the donated items. Captain Markham thanked the students for their generosity and explained that their donations will help feed many individuals and families in our community who are struggling to make ends meet.

“It’s truly heartwarming to see such an amazing group of students dedicate their time and energy to helping neighbors in our community who are facing food insecurity. These kids clearly care about making a difference for others—including children and teens just like them. We are deeply grateful to the students and faculty of Chamlian Armenian School for organizing this outstanding food drive,” said Captain Quinton Markham, The Salvation Army.
