Feb. 14

Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road, mile marker 4.5 in Angeles National Forest, a man parked his vehicle at the location and went for a hike. When he returned he found the catalytic converter on his vehicle had been stolen. The theft occurred between 7 a.m. and noon. 

Feb. 13

700 block of Angeles Crest Highway in Tujunga, a man reported parking his vehicle in the lower parking lot of Switzer Falls. He had to charge his phone and was unable get service. He then left for a hike. When his phone was charged and he was able to get service, he received a notification form his bank regarding recent credit card charges. He discovered there were multiple fraudulent debit and credit card charges. He went to his vehicle and discovered his wallet had been stolen and also found scratch marks on the exterior lock on his vehicle’s door. 
The incident occurred between 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. 

4400 block of Rockland Place in La Cañada Flintridge, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between 4 a.m. and 4:10 a.m. 

2100 block of Glenada Avenue in Montrose, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle at 4:03 a.m. 

2200 block of Crescent Avenue in Montrose, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle at 4:30 a.m.
