Montrose Magic: December Happenings
Thank you to everyone who joined us last month for our Lunch and Learn: Networking Know-How workshop and our “friendsgiving” mixer with the CV Chamber. It was amazing to see the community come together for the food drive. Thanks to those who attended the mixer; we were able to raise just over $1,000 for The Bailey Center! There is so much good in this community and we look forward to seeing that continue this holiday season and beyond.
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. for our Designing the Season: Holiday Chamber Mixer at La Cañada Furniture Design, 2305 Honolulu Ave. in the Montrose Shopping Park. The space is gorgeous and experiencing Montrose at night during the holidays truly feels like a scene from a Hallmark movie. Join us for delicious food, great company and the chance to walk away with an amazing prize!
This holiday season, we’re encouraging our community to shop small and choose gifts that give back. When you support local businesses, you’re supporting the people, families and places that make our community feel like home. Over the next few weeks, we’ll share gift ideas from our Chamber members on Instagram and Facebook to help you find meaningful, memorable presents for everyone on your list.
And don’t forget: the Montrose Christmas Parade is this Saturday. This year’s theme is Montrose Time Machine and the Montrose Chamber is taking you “Back to the Business” to celebrate Montrose businesses of the past, present and future. It’s a fun reminder that supporting local is always in style, no matter the year!
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating all the good happening in Montrose this holiday season and continue to support the businesses and people that make our community so special.
