NEWS FROM THE MONTROSE VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER

From Brats to Business: Whats Next for the Montrose Chamber

The MVCC extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the 46th Annual Montrose Oktoberfest, proudly supported by Babaians Law Firm. It’s incredible to see Honolulu Avenue filled with families, friends and neighbors celebrating this cherished Montrose tradition.

We are deeply grateful to Babaians Law Firm, our event sponsor, for its generosity and commitment to our community. Thank you also to our platinum sponsors: Anheuser-Busch and J’s Maintenance; our gold sponsors: The Nahle Group, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Dropstars Plumbing and Holy Redeemer St. James School; and our silver sponsors: Daniel Fraisse Insurance, YMCA of the Foothills, Nicole Schlueter with Think Real Estate, Rich Boccia, Crescenta Cañada Pet Hospital, Caspian Services, Athens Services and CV Weekly. We are so thankful to each of them for helping make this event possible.

We’d like to recognize our amazing volunteers from Clark Magnet High School and the CV AFJROTC for their hard work with setup, cleanup and support that made the event a success. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Glendale Police Dept. for keeping our event and our community safe.

Lastly, a very special thank you goes to our dedicated event committee: Chris Waldheim of J’s Maintenance, Laurie Jo of Laurie Jo Designs, Joe Allen, Adam Franko from YMCA of the Foothills, Kim Fraisse from Daniel Fraisse Insurance, and Rich Boccia, who work tirelessly to bring this event to life and keep it running smoothly.

As the tents come down, the momentum continues! We recently celebrated the new location of Current Season in the Montrose Shopping Park. Be sure to stop by and see its beautiful space for yourself!

Looking ahead, join us on Wednesday, Nov. 12 for a free Lunch & Learn workshop with Eddie Konialian of Netwrk.vip to sharpen your networking skills. Then on Thursday, Nov. 13, celebrate the season at our Friendsgiving Mixer with the CV Chamber at Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church, 2700 Montrose Ave.. Bring non-perishable food donations for the Bailey Center and help share the spirit of giving.

It’s a busy, meaningful month for the Chamber and we can’t wait to see you at one, or all, of our November events!
