NEWS FROM THE CV CHAMBER

Celebrating Thanksgiving with a Holiday Mixer

As the Chamber looks ahead to the holidays (can you believe Halloween is already over?), we’re delighted to have a “Friendsgiving” mixer with the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber. It’ll be on Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church, 2700 Montrose Ave. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. We look forward to celebrating the blessings that we have experienced in the last year including our friends at the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber. Despite being so busy they’ve made time for us and for that we’re grateful. We hope you can make it to our joint mixer on Nov. 13!

The CV Chamber has a fun outing to wind up each month, though we’ll be dark in November and December due to the holidays. Our “social hour” is on the last Wednesday of the month at various local establishments and is a chance to informally get together and meet the Chamber board while enjoying some food and beverages. Because of the informality of it we are all responsible for our own checks (though sometimes a brew is offered to the first person to show!). We recently met on Oct. 29 at John Sparr Tavern on Ocean View Boulevard in Sparr Heights. Make sure to visit the CV Chamber website (https://www.crescentavalleychamber.org/) to see where we’ll be heading to in the New Year!

Looking ahead, visit Albertson’s grocery store on Nov. 29 to see some great cars – plus meet members of the CV Chamber. About 60 antique, vintage and classic cars will be on display from 10 a.m. to noon.

We always welcome new folks and businesses to our Chamber. We are happy to announce the recent additions of Trisha Falbo and Montrose Property Management.

For details on any Chamber event simply call the CV Chamber office at (818) 248-4957 or email us at info@crescentavalleychamber.org.

Remember our Chamber motto: “Our Business is Your Business.”
