The annual tree lot is officially open, bringing festive cheer and community spirit to the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd. In partnership with J’s Maintenance and proud sponsors Gomez Landscaping, Kiwanis Club of La Cañada and Red Sea Tile & Stone, Inc., this year’s tree lot promises an unforgettable holiday experience for all.
Buyers will step into a winter wonderland and explore a spectacular selection of ultra-premium Christmas trees – perfect for creating cherished holiday memories. Every tree purchased directly supports the Y’s Youth and Teen Programs, making this event not only joyful but deeply impactful for the community.
And that’s not all! For the second year in a row, the YMCA is hosting festive holiday events including a hands-on ornament-making workshop and a lively Tree Lot Marketplace. These activities invite families and friends to come together and celebrate the season in true holiday style.
“This is truly my favorite time of year,” said Debbie Pile, Membership administrator and longtime tree lot lead. “The joy on children’s faces is priceless. With our free workshops, everyone can join the fun. Many families return year after year to capture their Christmas photo at the tree lot – I can’t wait to see who comes back this season!”
The tree lot opened the day after Thanksgiving and will remain open while supplies last.
Hours:
- Mon–Thu: 2 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Fri–Sun: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Each purchase helps fund transformative programs like Youth & Government, Model United Nations, and PILOTS, which empower teens to discover their passions and become strong community leaders. This year, 125 teens participated – and even more are eager to join in 2026. Every tree makes a difference!
