Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital hosted a breast cancer awareness event in October with Breastlink/RadNet and its 3-D mammogram truck, Glendale Police and Fire Departments and their pink wrapped vehicles. Local resident and staff received low cost and free mammograms, pink doughnuts and lots of pink goodies. 

Yearly mammograms starting at age 40 are important for detecting breast cancer early, which leads to more effective treatment and higher survival rates.
