A longtime name in the community, Rhody Construction has been serving the foothills’ area for three generations.

“Dad showed me the ropes,” said Ken Rhody, a licensed contractor with Rhody Construction. “I basically do the plans and oversee the work.”

Bob Rhody of Rhody Construction recently passed away; today Ken and his sister run the day-to-day operations of the company. Among the many things that Bob took care of was the advertising aspect of Rhody Construction. 

A local guy, Ken attended Hoover High School then attended trade school before becoming a licensed contractor. He’s been working for the company for nearly 40 years.

“We’ve been in the foothills since 1980,” Ken said noting that the quality of the work done by Rhody Construction spreads through word of mouth. “We’ve done many jobs in the local neighborhoods.”
