From left, Ernie Demis, JD Speas and Tony DiGiovanni joined organizer Steve Pierce at the July cleaning of the La Crescenta Ave off-ramp. The cleanup is on the second Saturday of the month. Volunteers gather in the 2700 block of Altura Avenue at 8:10 a.m. to get tools and safety equipment. Cleanup typically lasts no more than 45 minutes.

All volunteers over the age of 18 are welcome to take part!
