Dilbeck Real Estate, La Cañada and La Crescenta offices, with the assistance of its sales partners, the City of La Cañada Flintridge, community businesses and the foothills community, will host its 22nd annual Easter in the Park event on Saturday, April 15. The event will be held at the La Cañada Flintridge Memorial Park from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“Easter in the Park is always a lot of fun and a wonderful way to support charities serving our local community,” said Mark Dilbeck, president of Dilbeck Real Estate.

An Easter egg hunt has been organized for children 4 years old and younger, helped by mom or dad. Children who are 5 to 7 years old and those 8 to can take part in separate egg hunts. Instead of searching for colored eggs, children will find tokens hidden in the grass. Tokens can be redeemed for candy after each hunt. Each child who participates will receive a bag of candy regardless of the number of tokens collected.

Festivities also include a petting zoo, face painting, children’s show, raffle for stuffed bunnies, bounce house, balloon designer and more. Children can even have their pictures taken with a (very charming) Easter Bunny.

Contributions and donations come from generous individuals and local community neighbors. This year, proceeds will be donated to several non-profit organizations including the Assistance League of Flintridge, which supports and administers five philanthropies; the Community Scholarship Foundation of La Cañada Flintridge, with the goal of enabling any student to attend college, university, or a trade school; and the Los Altos Auxiliary of Hathaway-Sycamores, which works to provide hope for children in vulnerable situations.
