The Kiwanis Club of the Verdugos (KCOTV) announced its first-ever Verdugo Wine Fest, a premier community event scheduled for Saturday, April 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Hosted at the Glendale Community College (GCC) J. Walter Smith Student Center & Terrace, the festival offers an afternoon of fine wine and fellowship. Guests will enjoy a curated selection of wines from renowned regions –including Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Spain and Italy – perfectly paired with a variety of gourmet appetizers and vegan-friendly options.
Proceeds from the Verdugo Wine Fest will directly benefit the GCC Foster Youth Support Program (FYSP), providing essential resources for students transitioning from the foster care system into higher education.
“Excitement is in the air as we launch this new tradition,” said the Verdugos Kiwanis Club. “This is a unique opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy world-class wines, and make a tangible impact on the lives of our local foster youth.”
The GCC J. Walter Smith Student Center & Terrace is located at 1500 N. Verdugo Road in Glendale. Only those 21 and older, with valid government-issued ID, will be invited in..
General admission tickets are $100; on the day of the event, tickets are $115 and are subject to availability.
