2100 block of Crescent Avenue in Montrose, the rear passenger window was shattered on a vehicle at 3:45 a.m.

 

4200 block of Beulah Drive in La Cañada, the glass door to a home was smashed and jewelry was stolen between 12:30 p.m. and 1:50 p.m.

 

April 30
2700 block of Willowhaven Avenue in La Crescenta, a man returned home and found the rear sliding glass door of his home shattered. He went into his bedroom to see if anything was taken and found a jewelry box on top of his bed that was not there when he left his home earlier. He reported seeing a white four-door BMW with paper plates parked directly in front of his residence as he was pulling into his garage. He stated that he was suspicious because no one normally parks in front of his home. The vehicle was no longer at the location after he discovered the burglary that occurred at 12:43 p.m.

 

April 24
3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man reported that he had parked his car at a gas station near Pump No. 4. He took his credit card out of his wallet to pay for the fuel and tossed his wallet on the driver’s seat. He was on his phone while he was pumping gas with his back to his vehicle. He finished fueling, got into his car and drove off. It was then he realized his wallet was not in the car.
The theft occurred between 10 a.m. and 10:05 a.m.

 

April 20
4400 block of Oak Grove Drive at La Cañada, several McDonald’s cheeseburgers were thrown at a resident’s front door. The resident reported that for over a year there had been several pranks at his home including his yard being salted, someone ringing the doorbell and running away and his front yard being toilet papered. He had caught two juveniles in the act of one of the pranks, talked to their parents and said he would not report it to the school or to law enforcement as long as it stopped.
The pranks began again, and it was reported to law enforcement at 10 a.m.
