4500 block of Lasheart Drive in La Cañada, a laptop and purse were stolen and rooms in a home had been ransacked overnight.

April 25

600 block of Starlight Crest Drive in La Cañada, a resident contacted the sheriff’s station and reported hearing two suspects attempting to break into her home. When deputies arrived the resident ran out of the home, not knowing if the suspects had entered her home. The suspects were not located; however, the rear bathroom window had been shattered. A vehicle described as a white, four-door, Scion Cube with LED lights attached to the bottom of the vehicle in the front and the rear was seen in the area at the time. April 24

300 block of St. Katherine Drive in La Cañada, a television and teapot were stolen, several rooms were ransacked and the doorframe of a residence was damaged during a residential burglary between April 22-24.

1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a backpack, sweater and key fob were stolen after the backpack was placed on the floor next to a workout machine while the owner was working out at the gym. The backpack and items were stolen between 10 a.m. and 10:14 a.m.

5000 block of Princess Anne Road in La Cañada, several rooms in a home were ransacked and a glass-paneled door was broken between April 23-26.

April 21

2100 block of La Cañada, a gym bag, clothing and running shoes were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
