Closures Continue on Foothill Freeway

The California Dept. of Transportation (Caltrans) will close portions of the Foothill (I-210) Freeway as part of a pavement rehabilitation project. Note that the westbound Pennsylvania Avenue on- and off-ramps are now open. Scheduled closures are subject to change and/or cancelation.

Continuing through winter 2017, long-term closures include:

•One eastbound lane of the Foothill Freeway from Ocean View Boulevard to Lincoln Avenue

Continuing through June 2017, long-term ramp closures include:

•Westbound Ocean View Boulevard on-ramp

•Westbound La Crescenta Avenue off-ramp

•Eastbound Berkshire Place on-ramp and Arroyo Boulevard off-ramp

Through April 21: Eastbound I-210 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

•Up to three lanes between Lowell Avenue to Lake Avenue

•La Crescenta Avenue, Foothill Boulevard and Mountain Street on-ramps; Pennsylvania Avenue, Ocean View Boulevard, Berkshire Place, Arroyo Boulevard, Lincoln Boulevard on-and off-ramps

•Connector to southbound Glendale Freeway (SR-2)

•Connector to westbound Ventura Freeway (SR-134)

•Connector to southbound SR-710

Through April 21: Westbound I-210 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

•Up to three lanes between Lake Avenue and Lowell Avenue

•Walnut Street, Gould Avenue on-ramps; Marengo Avenue, Mountain Street, Ocean View Boulevard off-ramps; Lincoln Boulevard, Arroyo Boulevard, Berkshire Place, Angeles Crest Highway, Pennsylvania Avenue on- and off-ramps

•Westbound I-210 connector to southbound SR-2

•Westbound I-210 connector to southbound SR-710

•Eastbound SR-134 connector to westbound I-210

Through April 21: Northbound SR-2 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

•Verdugo Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard off-ramps

•Northbound SR-2 to eastbound I-210

•Northbound SR-2 to westbound I-210

Through April 21: Southbound SR-2 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

•Verdugo Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard on-ramps

The night time closures are necessary to minimize traffic delays and provide a safe work zone for construction crews and motorists while working along the I-210.
