Heavy rains have caused flooding in the foothills. Los Angeles County Fire Dept. responded to a call concerning flooding in the 4200 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Canada. There is a large amount of water in the backyard, said LAcoFD spokesperson Stephanie English. Crews are still working on scene. The home is not current affected but the backyard is flooded. A single car accident occurred on the 210 westbound at Berkshire, according to CHP. Wires are reportedly down in the 3000 block of Alabama St. in La Crescenta. City of Glendale has a report of "extra water" on Dunsmore. The National Weather Service in Oxnard issued an urban and small stream flood advisory Los Angeles County until 9:15 p.m. Sunday night. At 6:16 p.m. Doppler radar continued to show moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms across many of the valley, mountain and desert areas of Los Angeles County. Flash flood warnings are currently in effect for parts of these areas. Outside of these warned areas, urban and small stream flooding will continue to be a problem for the next several hours.
