Kiwanis of La Cañada Hosts Benefit Art Auction and Artisan Marketplace

The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada announced its upcoming Benefit Art Auction and Artisan Marketplace taking place on Sunday, Nov. 8  from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at  La Cañada Flintridge City Hall (One Civic Center Drive).

This premier community event brings together art enthusiasts, collectors and holiday shoppers for an afternoon of exceptional shopping and bidding – all to raise vital funds for local youth scholarships and other community initiatives.

The marketplace will showcase a diverse selection of high-quality, handcrafted goods including: contemporary fine art, handcrafted ceramics, vintage jewelry, artisanal woodcarvings, custom succulent arrangements, apparel and La Canada High School Students Art Show and Sale. In addition to the artisan booths, the highlight of the event is a curated silent auction featuring collectible art. Bidders will have a rare opportunity to vie for pieces by world-renowned master Pablo Picasso and groundbreaking pop artist and original social justice pioneer Corita Kent, alongside works from other listed artists.

“We are incredibly proud to bring an event of this caliber to La Cañada Flintridge,” said La Canada Kiwanis President Caroline Anderson. “Whether you are looking to acquire a piece of art history, find a unique holiday gift or simply support our local artisans, this marketplace offers something for everyone. Best of all, a percentage of every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting the work of Kiwanis in our community.”

Admission to the event is free and plentiful parking is available near city hall. Guests can enjoy light refreshments while browsing the marketplace and placing their silent auction bids.
