On hand for the wild ride will be queen-hopefuls, former queens, everlasting king Clayton, magistrate Vince, czar Tom, duke of Doo Dah, Rocket Man – the emcee, veteran parade entrants, tryout supporters and those too curious to stay away. Live music throughout the afternoon will be performed by Ma the Band.

Hopefuls will how Doo Dah royals why they deserve to wear this year’s crown.

The public is welcome to weigh influence on the Doo Dah glitterati. Contestants will have three minutes to strut their stuff. Dress extravagantly (whatever that means to each contestant), come prepared and they have to be ready to demonstrate their gifts – whether it’s song, dance, gags, recitation, impressions, looks, vibes, juggling, pantomime, ventriloquism, sword-swallowing, plate-spinning, glass blowing, whistling or turning invisible, the hunt is on for someone who is the life of the party. Normal need not apply. This is a fast-paced variety show to match no other!
