900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a call concerning a theft at a store. Surveillance footage revealed a male heavyset Black adult enter the store. He [Suspect No. 1] was wearing a black shirt and camouflage pants. He had tattoos on his right arm and was wearing sunglasses. He had a shopping cart that held several books and a Trader Joe’s bag. He was accompanied by a female [Suspect No. 2] described as a Black heavyset adult. 

The suspects walked through the store and placed several items into the cart. Suspect No. 1 approached the registers with two pillows on top of the shopping cart and attempted to return the items that were inside the cart prior to entering the store along with the added items, excluding the pillows. The store employee told Suspect No. 1 that a manager would contact them regarding the returns due to the amount of money regarding the items. The suspect declined returning the items and purchased one pillow and discarded the other. The employee did see another item in the cart that the suspects did not enter the store with. 

The suspects exited the store with the items at 7:52 p.m.

Oct. 10

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a person reported that while he was working at the store at the location someone stole the catalytic converter from his vehicle while it was in the parking between noon and 8 p.m.

Oct. 5

900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, an employee reported a theft at a store. Surveillance footage revealed a person [Suspect No. 1]  enter the store. Suspect No. 1, described as a male who appeared to be Hispanic, wearing a black hat, black shirt and jean shorts, had tattoos on his right arm and the back of his neck. He entered the store and walked toward the bath department. He grabbed a shopping cart and put a shower head in the cart and then approached the bedding department. He grabbed an air purifier and put it into the shopping car. When he approached the main entrance of the store he took the items out of the cart and walked out of the store without attempting to pay at 4:57 p.m.
