USC Keck/Verdugo Hills Hospital hosted its annual health fair, “Your Wellbeing. Your Community.”

People braved the extremely hot temperatures to get free flu shots and to speak to mental health and medical physicians.

Glendale Fire Dept. personnel was on hand overseeing a quick CPR training, Glendale police were on-site to offer information on careers, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. – CV Station were also on hand to answer questions. Vendors provided answers on a variety of medical questions.

The Community Resource for Aging is one of the most popular programs that USC-VHH offers.

iMPACT Foundation LA/CV Cares had a booth where members shared information on resources in the area for those who are concerned about mental health and drug misuse issues.

It was hot but the information and opportunities shared with the community by personnel of Keck USC-VHH and their vendor guests were well worth it.

In addition to health professionals, the Fair provided access to offices of local politicians.
