NEWS FROM MONTROSE-VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER

Prost! It’s Oktoberfest Time!

The countdown is almost over! The 47th Annual Montrose Oktoberfest, proudly supported by Babaians Law Firm, returns to Honolulu Avenue this Saturday, Oct. 3 from 12 p.m.–10 p.m. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and we can’t wait to welcome thousands of neighbors, families and visitors for one of our community’s most beloved traditions.

There’s something happening all along Honolulu Avenue! Our Kids’ Zone, proudly supported by the YMCA of the Foothills, will feature smaller rides for our younger guests, the Ferris wheel, face painting from 1 p.m.–7 p.m. and free kids art activities with Drawn2Art Montrose and Copy Paste Parenting. Kids can also cool off with the mister fans they love from the Sunday Montrose Harvest Market, located at select spots throughout the festival. The 2400 block features our bigger rides, including the Superslide and Euro Bungee, with carnival games and plenty more to discover along the way.

Come hungry and stay for the entertainment! You’ll find delicious food, beer, wine and three stages of live music and entertainment throughout the day, including a revamped lineup at our Bavarian Stage on Wickham Way. We’re also excited to add Ace Cider and sparkling rosé to this year’s drink lineup.

While you’re exploring, be sure to stop by Atavola Cheese Shop, which will be hosting a special pop-up in front of their soon-to-open storefront. We’re so excited to finally get a taste of what’s to come as they prepare to officially open their doors so stop by, say hello and give them a warm welcome!

Before we officially kick off Oktoberfest, we also want to thank everyone who joined us for Road to Oktoberfest Bingo at the Glendale Elks Lodge. It was such a fun night and the perfect way to build excitement for the big day ahead!

Follow @montroseoktoberfest for the latest updates and everything you need to know before you go. Admission to Oktoberfest is free so gather your family and friends and we’ll see you Saturday on Honolulu Avenue! Prost!
