LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Comments on Goldsworthy Column

Starting with Robin Goldsworthy’s column [of Sept. 10]: I personally do not use social media. I do not want to spread my private business all over the world. So, social media advertising is wasted on me. Printed advertisements are preferred. Some TV, very little really, and good old online research works for me. Keep it coming. Every now and then I get a good find.

I would guess that the majority of the CV Weekly readers are not the ones who are doing a lot of parking  in various Angeles Forest, etc. areas and leaving their ID, credit cards and valuables in their cars. It seems that hardly a month goes by that there is not a theft and car break report. I would think by now that people would learn to take their wallet, credit cards and other important ID with them. I do not know how many years CV Weekly has been posting the police reports. It would be interesting on seeing the police statistics on how many of these crimes are done each month and year.
