LCIF Issues Invitation

LCIF invites all to attend Sunday worship at 10 a.m., led by Pastor Viv Vega. Children’s Church is held concurrently and includes a Bible lesson, games, craft and a snack.

Women’s Nondenominational Bible Study

Seasons of Life Bible Study offers two classes to choose from:

* Joy of Living is studying Acts 1 and 2. 

* Women of Faith will be studying Prayer with Power and In His Eyes.

Classes are held on Thursday mornings from 10 – 11:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 24 through April 15 at Highlands Church (4441 La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta).

Waterpalooza! at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church 

Build friendships and beat the heat at Waterpalooza!, an afternoon of waterslides, water games and wet, wild fun at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 1-3 p.m.

Families in the community are welcome at this free event, hosted by LCPC Children’s Ministries. Parents must stay with their children for the entirety of the event.

Edgar Allan Poe – Make Your Depression Work for You with Bradley Bobbs

Dr. Bradley Bobbs as Edgar Allan Poe will be the UUCVH guest speaker on Aug. 23, delivering an inspirational and entertaining message based on Poe’s life, which will hopefully improve the lives of our guests.

CSL Offers Gentle Movement Class

The Center for Spiritual Living – La Crescenta is offering a gentle stretch and relax chair movement with Michelle Gillette. It takes place every Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. The cost is a $10 donation.

The class is at Chaffee Hall in the Center for Spiritual Living – La Crescenta.
